Oh my gosh I love Harry Potter

If you don't like Harry Potter, you will not be interested in, nor will you understand, the following gchat excerpt between me and Anny, who is a lucky bastard and got to go to the HP6 preview last night.


Anny: i was shocked that this movie was PG
Anny: parts were SCARY
Anny: one part, people screamed
Arielle: yeah i mean, at least from the book there's a ton of just really dark stuff going on
Arielle: one of the weird discrepancy things that i noticed when i watched the 5th movie, is that when they were fighting the death eaters, luna used the levicorpus spell on one of them. and thats not supposed to come in until the 6th book when harry learns it from his potions book
Arielle: i just thought of that because the part where he attacks malfoy in the bathroom is pretty gruesome in the book
Anny: omg you're right
Anny: haha i forgot!
Anny: and that's a death eater spell!
Anny: oh wait, didn't they use that spell at the quidditch world cup? maybe they just didn't know when it was until book 6 though
Arielle: yeah i think they did use it actually but luna is definitely not supposed to know it
Arielle: they talk in the 6th book about when harry learns it and practices it on ron

I love Harry Potter nerds. And though I still don't know when exactly I'm going to see the new Harry Potter movie, I CANNOT WAIT.
