Important Announcement!

Today is a very important day in Arielle-land.

Today is the day that I am introducing to you all my fancy brand new blog!

Yes, new blog.

No, I am NOT by any means getting rid of the Mermaid.

Around a month ago I started a new blog that was more focused on business-y things. But don't be afraid, it's not boring business-y things (at least I don't think so). Topics I've covered so far include: advice for women on how to ask for a raise, Panera's new "pay what you want" store, Coke Freestyle machines, and Microsoft trying to make Hotmail cool again.

The blog is mostly me commenting on things I read about in the Wall Street Journal. It's a way for me to keep on my mental toes and not downward spiral into intellectual laziness now that I will presumably never be in school ever again. I'm also trying to keep it (kind of) professional and will be more public with that blog than I am with this one. So while I will reference that blog here, I won't be referencing this blog over there. This is still friends only. =)
