Day 7: THE END

First of all, can we discuss how sad I am that the Weezer concert I was supposed to go to tonight is canceled because Rivers Cuomo is injured from a tour bus accident? Very sad. And hopefully his broken ribs heal, because that probably sucks. But this was supposed to be my break from a week of hell! Because ugly sweater parties and volleyball and Friend Thanksgiving aren't enough of a break, GOD. Anyway.

This is what I wore to Friend Thanksgiving yesterday, which by the way was delicious and amazing:


This is the COZIEST EVER wrap sweater. I'm wearing it again today (shut up) so that it opens above and below the tie so there's some more color in there (I'm wearing a different shirt underneath, so I'm not that dirty, yo).

Even though the sweater makes me look a little bit like a bag, I'm still giving this outfit an A- because this is finally something a little more my style. I do not wear dress pants all the time. Jeans and something comfortable.

Overall, despite the time consuming nature of this endeavor, I really enjoyed doing it and definitely felt a little bit better leaving the house in an outfit that didn't look like it had a pot of coffee dumped all over it and then got mauled by tigers. So while I realistically will not EVER look put together every day, maybe I'll put in a teeny bit more effort each day, or I'll try and do these week-long challenges again every so often. Hooray for that.
