But I am going to blog about today's outfit now because once I wake up in not that many hours I am going to WORK WORK WORK until my eyeballs fall out of my face. Or rather, until I have to go to my friend Jenny's for "Friend Thanksgiving," which is, it will surprise no one to know, a Thanksgiving meal with friends.
Anyway, no one saw this outfit that I wore today because I only wore it to go to the mall. I didn't even want to go to the mall because of the insane amount of work I have to do, but my mom decided over Thanksgiving that I need new shoes for Lacey's wedding, and we saw some cute ones at Nine West and since they were having a 30% off sale this weekend, I had to go pick them up (HAD TO). I would show you all a picture but Nine West apparently doesn't want to sell these shoes on their website. RIGHT. But the point is, you don't need to remove your coat to try on shoes.

Remember when I was all, "Oh, dressing nicely without a clean pair of jeans is soooo easy?" Well, I lied. It was retardedly hard to pick out an outfit today and for the love of God I am totally doing laundry tomorrow.
What I like about this outfit:
- blue is my favorite color
- these pants are a cross between sweatpants and work-appropriate pants and they are super comfortable
- that shirt has a hoodie-esque pocket in the front which is probably not supposed to be a pocket but I use it as one anyway. LOVE.
What I don't like about this outfit:
- it's more suited for the office than for a trip to the mall
- the "pocket" part of the shirt comes up to the collar and pretty much weighs the collar of the shirt WAY down to uncomfortable levels. So maybe it's better I had a coat on.
Overall grade: If I were going for the business casual look I'd give it an A- because it's simple and easy, but for shoe shopping I give it at B+.
Oh and in case anyone cares, I spent most of the day at my catering job, where I'm told what to wear. So it's not that I only left the house for an hour today to buy some shoes, but that most of the time I was out I couldn't dress how I would have wanted to. Just saying, I HAVE A LIFE. Sort of.
