Product Love

As many of you know, I'm not exactly what they call "high maintenance." Before leaving the house in the morning, my routine pretty much involves brushing my teeth and throwing on some clothes (and looking in the mirror, on days I remember to do that). So it should surprise no one that when it comes to beauty products, I am neither knowledgeable nor particularly picky most of the time. Aside from conditioner (about which I am actually extremely selective AKA Dove is the only thing that gets through my rats' nest excuse for curls), I have no problem using whatever happens to be around and I don't become particularly passionate about any products.

Except this one.

Clear Improvement charcoal mask, from Origins.

It is AH-MAZING.

I am super prone to getting blackheads and other pore-clogging grossness around my nose (something you obvi needed to know about me), and despite using many face washes that have those little scrubber things in them, they always seemed to persist. Even when using those Biore pore strips, which I admit are awesome because you can stare at them afterwards and see exactly what crap you just ripped off your face (nasty, but I totally do it), I don't really find that the area around my nose is any smoother.

But I swear to you, bloggy friends, this mask changed my life. While it's on it pretty much feels like it's sucking all the moisture out of your face and you'll never feel hydrated again, but holy crap, does it work. I just used it and my nose is smooth as a baby's bottom.

For real, people. This is the good shit right here. TRY IT.

I promise I wasn't paid by Origins to do this (though I'd be totally open to that, I can absolutely be bought!).

This totally sounds like something that would help me. Especially since I have worse skin at nearly 30 than I ever did as a teenager.

I do the same thing with pore strips too...

I looked into getting that last year, but forgot about it until now. I'm in love with their Modern Friction facial scrub. SRSLY. It is heaven for my face once a week (when I remember to use it).

Sounds absolutely amazing - Origins is good stuff.

Also, re: Biore pore strip things - I LOVE looking at all the stuff they pull out of my face. My husband does not. And, true story, I've yelled at him because he wasn't interested.

I think we have opposite problems, because my skin is terribly dry. I wonder if Origins makes any kick ass moisturizer for stupidly sensitive skin?
