Discussing this week's episode of Glee at dinner tonight made me realize that I probably noticed something that many of you did not. And because I know there are oh soooo many Glee lovers out there, I thought I would share.
Everyone remembers the part where Puck talks about his annual family ritual of watching Schindler's List, yes? Good.
What he actually said was that his family has their "Simchat Torah screening" of the movie.
Simchat Torah, for those who don't know, is a seriously celebratory Jewish holiday that involves dancing, singing, and general merriment. In large amounts. I mean, people go ca-razzy. And thus I couldn't help but chuckle when he said that his family watches Schindler's List (obviously, not exactly a celebratory kind of movie) on this holiday.
And now you guys can laugh too. =)
