Some of you may recall this post, in which I talked about why I hate Twitter. Since that post, I have become somewhat more active on Twitter, which is to say that now I tweet a few times a week as opposed to maybe once a week.
Despite my increase in Twitter usage, there are still things I hate about it. Everything in the last post absolutely a million percent remains true. Here are a few additions:
1. ICYMI (In Case You Missed It) tweets about your god damn blog posts. I still can't stand when people tweet to let everyone know they put up a blog post, BUT NOW YOU'RE TWEETING ABOUT IT MULTIPLE TIMES. STOP. Again - if I wanted to subscribe to your blog, I would (and if I follow you on Twitter, I probably already do).
2. Retweeting EVERY SINGLE TWEET from another one of your Twitter accounts. Congratulations, you're a community manager or maybe you just have 2 blogs or I don't even care what the reason is for having 2 Twitter names. The occasional RT from another one of your accounts is more than acceptable. But not every fucking tweet. Because, yet again, if I wanted to follow that account, I'D HAVE DONE SO ALREADY.
3. Putting a period before your @ reply to someone so that I actually have to see what you say to them even though it has nothing to do with me. If you happen to be talking about someone and you can't for the life of you figure out how to phrase your tweet without putting their name first, fine. But if you think what you're saying to that one person is funny or awesome and it clearly isn't, please don't make me privy to your conversation. Here's an example:
Acceptable: ".@Arielle'sHotHotBoyfriend and I are about to go do some totally awesome thing so be jealous, twitterverse!"
Not Acceptable: ".@Arielle'sHotHotBoyfriend you are so hot and amazing and I love you blah blah barf all over the place."
Alright, that's it. FOR NOW.
Orange hair no more!
Wednesday, September 14, 2011
I am happy to report that my orange hair is a thing of the past. I got it dyed back as close as possible to its natural color, with a few highlights in the front to make it less dull.
Don't mind the terrible picture or the terrible facial expression. This picture makes my hair look a little darker than it actually is, but the point is, no more orange. Rejoice!

First of all, I want to say that the overwhelming response to my last post was that I should put this profile up on OK Cupid. I am not sure about this. Decision forthcoming. But moving on.
Recently, I've noticed a trend among the male frontmen for various bands.
They are some skinny fuckers.
Bear in mind that it is surprisingly hard to find a good picture of these dudes in a wifebeater and skinny jeans, the state in which I've seen most of them recently and which, in my opinion, makes them look the most malnourished. So use your imagination a bit.

Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong...eat a sandwich.
Linkin Park's Chester Bennington...eat a sandwich.
Brandon Boyd of Incubus...eat a sandwich.

I know that they all have to have insanely high energy levels as a profession, but seriously, don't you just want them to go eat a bowl of pasta or something? I'm not saying they aren't sexy because let's be real here, everyone loves a rock star (amiright ladies?). But you know...there's no data to suggest that we wouldn't love a well-fed rock star.
Anyway, not that Lil Wayne is my type AT ALL, but let's just take a moment to feast upon Weezy's abs.

Hello.
