Orange hair no more!

Wednesday, September 14, 2011
I am happy to report that my orange hair is a thing of the past. I got it dyed back as close as possible to its natural color, with a few highlights in the front to make it less dull.

Don't mind the terrible picture or the terrible facial expression. This picture makes my hair look a little darker than it actually is, but the point is, no more orange. Rejoice!

Please feed the rock stars

First of all, I want to say that the overwhelming response to my last post was that I should put this profile up on OK Cupid. I am not sure about this. Decision forthcoming. But moving on.

Recently, I've noticed a trend among the male frontmen for various bands.

They are some skinny fuckers.

Bear in mind that it is surprisingly hard to find a good picture of these dudes in a wifebeater and skinny jeans, the state in which I've seen most of them recently and which, in my opinion, makes them look the most malnourished. So use your imagination a bit.

Maroon 5's Adam Levine....eat a sandwich.

Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong...eat a sandwich.
Linkin Park's Chester Bennington...eat a sandwich.
Brandon Boyd of Incubus...eat a sandwich.

I know that they all have to have insanely high energy levels as a profession, but seriously, don't you just want them to go eat a bowl of pasta or something? I'm not saying they aren't sexy because let's be real here, everyone loves a rock star (amiright ladies?). But you know...there's no data to suggest that we wouldn't love a well-fed rock star.

Anyway, not that Lil Wayne is my type AT ALL, but let's just take a moment to feast upon Weezy's abs.

Hello.

The best drinking game in the history of drinking games

Once a week, I play volleyball with New York Social Sports Club. Perhaps the best thing about NYSSC is that, more than any other league I've played in, they really want you to go the bar and drink after.

I mean, they take the social part VERY seriously.

And so on Tuesday or Wednesday each week, I end my day with countless games of flip cup, survivor flip cup, and some beer pong thrown in for good measure. And then more flip cup. And if we're lucky, some shots.

This week, I was introduced to a magical new game: beer dueling.

The game is simple. You grab a cup of beer and a partner. You stand back to back. When told to start, you walk a designated number of paces. You chug your beer as quickly as possible. And then you turn around and PELT YOUR OPPONENT WITH YOUR CUP. The first person to do so wins.

Sadly, the staff shut down our beer dueling pretty early on. Yet my fabulous friend Ian luckily had someone take this video of us beer dueling while the festivities were still in full swing. Enjoy.
